Mathew street 2010

Just thought I would put a topic up as this board is quite stagnant since they made contributors log in. I walked down Mathew street the other day walked past Sam Leach I think he was a BeAtle promoter and new them well who sits in the Grapes and lets people ask him questions. The guy from Flock of seagulls Frank Maudsley walked past. Seen A COUPLE OF American actors strolling down there all on a Thursday afternoon.

The webcams do not do justice to the vibe on that street, That is without all the banter from the locals and tourists especially when they are getting there pics taken next to the John Lennon statue outside the Cavern pub.

The Beatles Festival will be here soon you will miss a fantastic weekend if you don't tune in drop out and turn on your Beatles antenna...all you need is LOVE.

I have to agree also that the webcam doesn't do this area justice!
Not to mention that webcam 3 hasn't worked for almost a year now!!!

I am hoping that they will update these webcams to be live as the Abbey Rd webcams have been updated to.
They are fantastic to watch everyone cross the Rd with SOUND!!!

But back to Mathew Street.....yes, I would love to see the John Lennon statue on the cam and also the entrance to the Cavern.
There is a lot to see and more to do on Mathew St. I was there in August 2008 and had the time of my life!
Worth a trip to Liverpool for that's for sure!
